What is deleted

• Your name, phone number, email address and date of birth
• Your profile photo
• Your messages with providers or customers, and with our support team
• Your saved area, and the record of which providers you contacted
• Your notification and device registrations, so the app stops reaching your phone
• For service providers: your public listing, bio, work photos, services and areas. Your profile stops appearing in search immediately.

What is kept, and why

A small amount of information has to survive the account, and we would rather say so than let you discover it later.

• Reviews you wrotestay on the provider's profile, with your name removed. Deleting them would let anyone erase honest feedback by closing their account, which is the one thing ratings must not allow.
• Invoices and payment records for providers are kept for 7 years, because tax and accounting law requires it.
• Records of a dispute that is still open are kept until it is settled.

Backups are held on a rolling basis and overwritten within 30 days, so deleted data disappears from those too.

Deleting some data without closing your account

You do not have to close the account to remove things from it. In the app or on the website you can change or clear your photo, phone, email and other profile details at any time, and providers can remove individual work photos and services. For anything else, write to [email protected] and say what you want removed.
